About

Aerospace Fabrication has over 25 years of experience developing multilayer insulation systems for cryogenic temperature regimes. Their cryogenic cable superinsulation is constructed from reflective thin films and low thermally conductive fabric space material to reduce heat flux, suitable for cryogenic cabling closeouts and pipe insulation. They also provide multilayer superinsulation systems for cryogenic tanks, ranging from small dewars to large storage vessels, which create effective barriers to heat flow in vacuum environments. Cryogenic superinsulation is a specialized material designed to maintain extremely low temperatures (typically below -100°C) by minimizing conduction and radiation heat transfer in a vacuum environment. It consists of multiple layers of low conducting spacers and reflective thin films or foils. Benefits include improved temperature regulation, enhanced safety, reduced energy consumption, and increased efficiency of cryogenic systems. Aerospace Fabrication & Materials’ cryogenic superinsulation serves industries such as aerospace, industrial and scientific cryogenics, and superconductivity, offering high thermal performance, durability, low maintenance, and customization.
