Forest Inventory Management (FIM)

Forest preservation is increasingly important for decarbonization, with over 4 billion hectares of forest covering about 30% of the world’s landmass. Managing these vast areas is challenging, and many forests remain unmanaged. Synspective’s Forest Inventory Management (FIM) solution addresses this by enabling various remote observations. These include tree height estimation, biomass estimation, forest fauna classification, logging detection, and calculations for CO2 absorption and fixed amounts. This capability allows for the expansion of management areas and significant cost reductions.
