About

This is an indoor 800W GaN C-band SSPA/BUC designed for standalone operation. It features automatic control modes (AGC, ALC), a pressure window, and both output and input RF calibrated sample ports. The power supply module consists of 1RU 19” subrack with two hot-swappable AC/DC converters working in redundancy. Input voltage is 90-264 VAC, 50-60 Hz, with power consumption less than 3000 W at PSAT. The RF unit has dimensions of 483 x 266 x 518 mm (6RU panel height) and weighs 35 Kg. Interfaces include N-type (f) for RF Input (BUC) / SMA (f) (SSPA), CPR-137-G Grooved for RF Output, N-type (f) for RF Samples, IEC320 for AC Line, and DB15 (m) / DB9 (f) for M&C. It operates in a temperature range of 0 ºC to +50 ºC. Remote control is available via RS-485 or USB, with monitoring of forward/reverse output power, input power, temperature, and summary alarms. Internal self-protection includes temperature (>85 ºC), reflected power, and high input-output power. The input frequency range for BUC is 950-1525 MHz, with an operating frequency range of 5.85 – 6.425 GHz and LO of 4.9 GHz. Typical PSAT output power is 59 dBm, and linear output power is 58 dBm. Gain is >70 dB, with gain flatness of 3 dB p-p max over full band and 1 dB p-p max over any 40 MHz. Attenuation adjustment range is 20 dB in 0.1 dB steps. Input VSWR is ≤1.5:1 and output VSWR is ≤1.3:1.
