This GaN DBS SSPA/BUC is a 300W outdoor unit utilizing cutting-edge GaN technology for broadcast SATCOM. It features high efficiency, super high linear power, and multicarrier operation without memory effects. The design ensures superior lifetime and high MTBF. It includes a detachable power supply module and is weatherproof. The unit offers full M&C capability via RS-485/USB (ASCII) or optional Ethernet (Telnet, HTTP, SNMP), with discrete lines for mute/on/off functions and a summary alarm. Robust performance is guaranteed through individual unit testing over temperature and a built-in output isolator for protection against reflected power. Advanced packaging and cooling allow operation in tough environments. It has a built-in upconverter and high stability internal reference for BUC functionality. Options include an Ethernet port, extended temperature range, redundant systems, indoor controller, receive reject filter, harmonic filter, SNMP, high stability internal reference, automatic control modes (AGC, ALC), pressure window, and an output RF calibrated sample port.
