About
The GAUSS UHF Radio is a satellite communications transceiver available in two configurations: a low-power 2 W version and a high-power 5 W version. The uplink and downlink channels are totally independent, meaning each can be configured with different frequencies, modulations and protocols. The radio can be reconfigured via software, including dynamic changes to the output power during operation. Thanks to its compact dimensions, two radio units can be stacked on the same PCB/104 board, allowing them to be used in parallel or for redundancy purposes. Each radio is supplied together with an adapter board for testing and a computer software interface, enabling ground testing and integration support. The product is fully compatible with the GAUSS Mini Ground Dongle for TT&C ground station simulation and testing.
