GITA (Green Impulse Transmitter) is InspeCity’s eco-friendly propulsion system designed for satellite servicing missions. It uses refuellable, easy-to-source green propellants to deliver high thrust and high specific impulse while minimising environmental impact compared to conventional satellite propulsion technologies.
GITA provides instant response capabilities critical for precision orbital manoeuvres, enabling VEDA and other servicing platforms to perform accurate rendezvous and proximity operations. Its green propellant formulation reduces hazardous handling requirements and supports more sustainable on-orbit refuelling operations. GITA is the primary propulsion source powering VEDA across all InspeCity in-orbit servicing missions.
