About

RIG (Robotically Inserted Guidance System) is InspeCity’s autonomous satellite repair and upgrade system. Designed to attach directly to client satellites, RIG enables critical on-orbit maintenance operations without requiring human spaceflight, bringing autonomous servicing capabilities to satellites that were not originally designed to be serviced.

RIG features high-precision docking mechanisms and fully autonomous operation, allowing it to rendezvous with and attach to a wide variety of satellite models in orbit. Once docked, RIG provides the platform from which repair, upgrade, and life-extension activities are conducted. CHAKSU’s AI-enhanced tracking guides RIG through the approach and docking sequence, while VEDA acts as the transport vessel that delivers RIG to the target satellite’s orbital slot. RIG is a central component of InspeCity’s end-to-end in-orbit servicing architecture.
