About
VEDA (Vehicle for Life Extension and De-orbiting Activities) is InspeCity’s central servicing spacecraft — the vessel that unifies the entire in-orbit servicing ecosystem. Specially designed for satellite servicing missions, VEDA transports RIG and RAMA to client satellites in orbit, acting as both a logistics platform and mission hub for life-extension and de-orbiting operations.
Powered by InspeCity’s own GITA green propulsion system, VEDA carries out the orbital transfer and proximity operations necessary to deliver servicing systems close enough for docking. Its advanced propulsion and robust navigation capabilities — informed by CHAKSU’s AI-enhanced tracking — ensure precise orbital rendezvous even in congested orbital environments. By maximising the impact of every launch and minimising waste, VEDA embodies InspeCity’s commitment to sustainable and responsible space operations.
VEDA serves as the backbone of InspeCity’s service offering: without it, the robotic arm RAMA and the docking system RIG cannot reach their target satellites. Its specialised design enables it to support inspection, life extension, refuelling, and de-orbiting missions across a range of client satellite types.
