GK-2B Environmental Satellite Ground Station

Hancom InSpace built and operates the ground station for GK-2B, an environmental monitoring satellite that provides data used for the analysis of air quality and environmental conditions across Northeast Asia. The ground station handles downlink reception and data processing for the satellite’s ocean and environmental payloads, supporting national environmental monitoring and analysis programs. This system is part of InSpace’s family of ground segment deployments for Korean geostationary Earth observation satellites, complementing its GK-2A meteorological ground station and reflecting continued government partnership on environmental and atmospheric monitoring infrastructure.
