KOMPSAT Series Ground Station

Hancom InSpace has contributed to the development of ground station subsystems for the KOMPSAT (Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite) series in partnership with the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI). KOMPSAT is Korea’s flagship Earth observation satellite program, spanning multiple generations (KOMPSAT-2, -3, and -5) used for high-resolution optical and SAR imaging. InSpace’s ground station work supports reception, processing, and distribution of imagery from these satellites for both government and commercial Earth observation applications, forming a core part of the company’s long-running relationship with KARI on national space infrastructure programs.
