About
The NanoCom Link S is an S-band transceiver designed to provide fast and reliable S-band communications for satellite missions. It supports radio link rates up to 7.5 Mbps and features advanced onboard data storage and flexible in-orbit control. To ensure secure communication, the NanoCom Link S incorporates built-in encryption and key management, adhering to the latest CCSDS recommendations, thereby protecting communication sessions against eavesdroppers and other threats. A key feature is its integrated front end and S-band antenna, which can be strategically placed within the satellite independently of the modem/transmitter location, eliminating concerns about signal loss. The product is part of the NanoCom Link series, which emphasizes ‘Nano’ for Nano Satellites, ‘Com’ for communication, and ‘Link’ for the essential Space Ground Link. It ensures compliance with industry-standard communication protocols for reliable space communication and includes the NanoCom Link Connect software for ground station connectivity. The solution comes with an S-band patch antenna with an integrated front-end.
