Ground Station System

The Data Patterns Ground Station is a generalized, open-frame architecture system designed to support the space segment and relay mission data to end users. It provides independent uplink and downlink communication channels dedicated to command and telemetry/data functions respectively. The generic design allows straightforward control of key link parameters such as frequency, modulation scheme and data rate, and the system readily supports common satellite communication protocols including HDLC, AX.25 and CCSDS. The product line includes standalone receivers and transceivers (e.g. DP-COM-8011-300 receiver, DP-COM-8020-330 receiver, DP-COM-8023-300 transceiver) as well as portable ground transceiver units, giving operators a flexible, straightforward solution to communicate with and control satellites in orbit.
