The Haigh-Farr Wraparound™ antenna is the company’s flagship conformal antenna product, providing full omnidirectional coverage for cylindrical or conical launch vehicles, missiles, drones, and spacecraft without requiring external splitters, combiners, or cable harnesses. The antenna is a single-point-feed, self-contained assembly that conforms to the outer mold line of the host vehicle, minimizing aerodynamic disturbance.
Available from 300 MHz through 13 GHz, the Wraparound™ supports FTS, telemetry, transponder, and data link functions. Multi-channel designs are available for applications requiring simultaneous operation across multiple bands or polarizations. Mounting options include flush integration for minimal aerodynamic impact or external mounting where access is constrained, and the antenna is rated for high-G loads and extreme vibration environments encountered during launch.
Haigh-Farr has produced Wraparound™ antennas for launch vehicles operated by United Launch Alliance, Lockheed Martin, and Boeing, as well as for tactical missiles, sounding rockets, and spacecraft. Design, pattern analysis, mechanical and thermal analysis, and full environmental and RF testing are performed in-house at the Bedford, NH facility.
