About
The HC16 system generates stable and homogeneous magnetic fields in up to three axes. It comprises the 350mm diameter HC16, PA1, and CU1. This system interfaces with a PXI control system or compatible National Instruments acquisition card for complete system control. The HC16 is built with non-conductive coil formers and can be purchased separately. Key features include the calibration of three-axis magnetic field sensors, particularly for satellites and sub-assemblies, and the creation of a known magnetic environment. It offers a homogeneous field to 0.1% in a volume of 33cm³, active compensation using CU2, and orthogonality correction using PA1. Control software is also available.
