About
The HC2 Helmholtz Coil System generates stable and homogeneous magnetic fields in up to three axes. It comprises a 1000mm diameter HC2 Helmholtz Coil, PA1 and CU1. It interfaces with a PXI control system or compatible National Instruments acquisition card for complete system control. HC2 Helmholtz Coils can also be purchased separately from the rest of the system. This product is shipped flat-pack for easier transportation. Key features include a homogeneous field to 0.1% in a volume of 2500cm³, orthogonality correction using PA1, active compensation using CU2, and available control software. Applications include the calibration of three-axis magnetic field sensors, including for satellites and sub assemblies, and the creation of a known magnetic environment.
