About
HCT has developed and holds a patent pending on an IoT multi-band frequency antenna covering both American and European frequency ranges, along with a companion beacon antenna. The antenna is designed to be stored within a 6U satellite chassis. The Multi-Band Antenna series is omni-directional, operating across frequency ranges of 100-3000MHz, and provides hemispheric communications coverage ideal for tracking and receiving signals down to -5 degrees below the horizon. The antennas can be nested or built in a linear configuration to hold multiple frequency antennas within the same housing. They are currently used for applications including weather balloon tracking, Am-Sat (amateur satellite) station receiving, and migratory animal location tracking. The antennas are in high demand within the 900MHz range, which is used to receive IoT frequency bands from overpassing satellites.
