About
SAM is Spacemanic’s deployable antenna system covering the 133-150 MHz VHF and 380-450 MHz UHF bands, offered in dipole and cross-dipole (turnstile) configurations for CubeSat telemetry, tracking, and command communications.
The antenna measures 98 x 98 x 6.2 mm (10.1 mm including components) and weighs 55 g, operating from -40°C to +85°C. It draws 0.075 W average power with a 1.5 W peak during deployment, and interfaces via I2C, RS485, and UART.
