About
The CHORUS-06 is a deployable antenna system designed for CubeSats, available in multiple versions including CHORUS-06-M (2x Monopoles, Linear Polarization), CHORUS-06-D (1x Dipoles, Linear Polarization), and CHORUS-06-CP (Turnstile, Circular Polarization). All versions operate within a frequency range of 150 – 930 MHz, with a bandwidth of 20dB and a typical VSWR of less than 1.3. They are suggested for 6U, 12U, and 16U CubeSats, providing 0 dBi gain and operating on a 3.3/5 V voltage supply with an I2C interface. The system boasts reliability with proven performance in space, a dual redundant deployment system, redundant power lines, and deployment feedback on each antenna element. Integration features include a resettable HDRM, multiple apertures for testing, design compatibility for platforms from 1U to 16U, and the ability to integrate a top solar panel above. Customization options allow for configuration for UHF or VHF bands, customizable deployment sequences, and custom mounting holes.
