Harmonic Drive offers high-precision rack and pinion gears designed for converting rotational movement into linear motion, essential for efficient machine functioning. The product line includes two rack models, RK and JK, and three pinion-equipped gearhead models: HPG-32R, HPG-32A, and HPG-50A. These components are available as a kit, featuring the HPG series, a Harmonic Planetary® gearhead known for its low backlash. Key features include high positioning accuracy due to low-pitch error, low runout accuracy (15μm or less) for minimized backlash variation and vibrations, and low noise and vibration thanks to a grounded finish, making them suitable for demanding applications like medical equipment and electric cars. The gears are durable, wear-resistant, and offer high load-carrying capacity, design flexibility, energy-efficient transfer, environmental flexibility, reliable synchronization, smooth operation, and simple installation.
