About
The High Voltage Power Supply System kit KPVS is designed for large-sized spacecraft and modules of orbital stations. Released in 2014, it boasts a guaranteed service life of 17 years and an estimated production/delivery time of 18 months. While it does not currently have flight qualification, it offers the possibility to be adapted to customer requirements. The kit includes a comprehensive set of components such as power converters, current regulators for photovoltaic batteries, battery chargers, battery electronics, busbar blocks, power switches, and a digital control unit. A key feature is its modular design, which allows for configuration of the power supply system from 2 to 60 kW by adjusting the number of modules. It utilizes nickel-hydrogen batteries. The system is designed for pressurized setup and is planned to operate as part of the scientific and energy module of the International Space Station (ISS).
