About
The HPG-RA Harmonic Planetary® gearhead is engineered to provide high-torque and high-accuracy performance within a compact Right Angle configuration. A key feature of this gearbox is its continuous backlash compensation, which ensures that low backlash is maintained throughout the entire operational life of the gear. The design includes a large Cross Roller bearing that functions as the output flange, enabling direct support for substantial loads and offering high moment stiffness. HPG Right Angle planetary gears are versatile, available with multiple output options including a flange output, a smooth output shaft, or a shaft equipped with a key and a tapped center hole. These gearheads are offered in 3 frame sizes, with peak torque ranging from 150Nm to 2,200Nm and ratios from 5:1 to 50:1. They boast high efficiency and a backlash of less than 3 arc-min, along with a high load capacity Cross Roller output bearing. For ease of integration, they feature a Quick Connect® coupling for simple mounting of various motors.
