About
The HPG-A Harmonic Planetary® gearhead is engineered to provide high-torque and high-accuracy within a compact design. It incorporates continuous backlash compensation, ensuring low backlash performance throughout the gear’s operational life. A robust Cross Roller bearing functions as the output flange, capable of directly supporting substantial loads with high moment stiffness. HPG planetary gears are offered with various output options, including a flange output, a smooth output shaft, or a shaft equipped with a key and a tapped center hole. The HPG Harmonic Planetary® gear is particularly suited for drive trains in AMR/AGV propulsion systems, featuring a high-capacity cross roller bearing designed to support heavy payloads. Its design promotes backdrivability while maintaining high efficiency, which maximizes operational time between recharges. These gearboxes are available in multiple frame sizes and can be integrated with motors. Additionally, washdown-hardened versions of HPG gearheads are available, offering improved ingress protection across six frame sizes and numerous ratios.
