About
The HPG Harmonic Planetary® gearhead shares the high performance specifications of the standard HPG series but features an input shaft designed for shaft couplings or for use with a motor offset via a belt drive. Like the HPG, this gearhead integrates continuous backlash compensation, ensuring consistently low backlash throughout its operational life. A large Cross Roller bearing functions as the output flange, providing robust support for substantial loads with high moment stiffness. HPG planetary gears are available with various output configurations, including a flange output, a smooth output shaft, or a shaft equipped with a key and a tapped center hole. This product is available in 6 frame sizes, offering peak torque from 5Nm to 3,200Nm and ratios from 3:1 to 50:1. It boasts high efficiency and a backlash of less than 3 arc-min, with an option for less than 1 arc-min.
