About
The HPGP Harmonic Planetary® gearhead is engineered for high torque and high accuracy within a compact design. It features four planet gears and continuous backlash compensation, ensuring consistent low backlash performance over the gear’s lifespan. A robust Cross Roller bearing serves as the output flange, capable of directly supporting substantial loads with high moment stiffness. These planetary gears are versatile, available with a flange output, a smooth output shaft, or a shaft equipped with a key and a tapped center hole. Key specifications include availability in 6 frame sizes, a peak torque range from 12Nm to 3,940Nm, and ratios from 4:1 to 45:1. It boasts high efficiency, with backlash typically less than 3 arc-min (and an option for less than 1 arc-min), and a repeatability of ±20 arc-sec. The Quick Connect® coupling facilitates easy mounting of various motors.
