About

ARIETIS is InnaLabs’ flagship space gyroscope system — a 3-axis radiation-hardened Inertial Reference Unit (IRU) designed for primary attitude sensing on commercial and scientific satellites. It uses European FPGA technology and Class 1 high-reliability components, is fully ITAR-free, and complies with ESA ECSS standards.

ARIETIS provides a fine measurement range of ±3°/s (ARW ≤ 0.005°/√hr, in-run bias stability ≤ 0.1°/hr) and a coarse mode of ±48°/s for manoeuvre detection. Communication is via RS422 with optional analogue output. At approximately 3 kg and 8 W, it is sized for medium and large spacecraft. Qualified missions include ESA’s PLATO, LSTM, and ARIEL. Operational lifetime is up to 16 years.
