INTU ATE
The Instrument Test Unit For Advanced Inertial Sensors (INTU) is designed for testing and evaluating Ring Laser Gyros used in GSLV/PSLV launch vehicles, detecting angular displacement during rotation.
About
The INTU ATE system is crucial for testing and evaluating Ring Laser Gyros (RLG), which are integral components in GSLV/PSLV launch vehicles. It precisely detects angular displacement during rotation, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of these advanced inertial sensors. The INTU receives displacement signals from the RLG to thoroughly assess its characteristics and also generates the necessary signals to initiate the sensor’s action. This system has played a significant role in the successful launch of numerous Indian rocket launch vehicles, including Polar and Geostationary Satellite Launches, as well as the Chandrayan and Mars Orbiter missions. The INTU system comprises several key boards: a Processor module, an INTU Interface Module, a Light-up module, a Current Monitoring module, a Rear I/O module, and a Fan Failure Indication module.
