Kayser Space designs and manufactures space-qualified Power Distribution Units (PDUs) that convert, isolate, and safely distribute electrical power to multiple subsystems and payloads. These units feature high-efficiency conversion and protection logic, monitoring capabilities, and are built in compact, robust architectures with mission-specific customisation. The PDU product line has proven heritage on the ISS Columbus Module and ESA programmes.

The Power Conversion and Distribution product range includes the PPS mk1 and PPS mk2 (autonomous units distributing 28 Vdc to multiple outputs), the VMU PCU (dedicated power control unit for ISS regulated 28 Vdc supply), the FLU PDCU (with electrical isolation), the ATFL PDCU (converting and isolating 28 Vdc into regulated outputs), the ACLS AFP (supplying 120 Vdc non-isolated power), and the XRF FPW (facility control electronics power unit).

The DC/DC Converter range includes the PLATO PSU (space-qualified regulated and protected power supply board), TPE and PRE DC/DCs (custom multi-output regulated power units), the Ariel PSU (multi-output unit based on three flyback converters), and the IRES-C DC/DC (custom multi-output flyback unit). All units are qualified for space environments and support payload and subsystem power distribution for orbital platforms and scientific facilities.
