KOMPSAT-5
KOMPSAT-5 (Arirang-5) is a South Korean synthetic aperture radar (SAR) Earth observation satellite developed by KARI and manufactured by KAI. Operating in X-band SAR, it provides 1m resolution imagery in spotlight mode regardless of weather or lighting conditions. Launched in 2013, it operates in a 550km sun-synchronous orbit.
