Launch Services

NSIL offers comprehensive launch solutions for both Ride Sharing and Dedicated Missions using ISRO's flight-proven launch vehicles: SSLV, PSLV, GSLV-Mk-II, and LVM-3.

About

NSIL provides launch services for customer satellites, building upon ISRO’s extensive experience since 1999. The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) has successfully launched 319 customer satellites from 33 countries. PSLV is a versatile vehicle capable of launching satellites into LEO, SSO, Sub-GTO, and GTO Orbits. With the operationalization of Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV), GSLV Mk-III (LVM-3), and the development of the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) as a launch-on-demand vehicle, NSIL is expanding its launch service offerings. Launches are conducted from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) in Sriharikota, India. GSLV is designed for heavier satellites up to 2200 kg into Geosynchronous Transfer Orbits (GTO), while LVM-3 enhances this capability to 4000 kg for GTO or 10t to LEO. The SSLV is intended for 500 kg satellites to a 500 km LEO Orbit, emphasizing cost-effectiveness, reduced turn-around time, and launch-on-demand philosophy. NSIL offers a wide variety of flight-proven payload separation systems and adaptors for all categories of satellites.
