About

L.Garde has developed and tested several deployable space structures designed to enable advanced observation capabilities. One notable project is the structure for the DARPA ISAT space-based radar platform, which is a 300m long electronically steered array capable of packing into a Delta IV rocket fairing. L.Garde also supported the Integrated Sensor IS Structure program by providing design and conceptualization for its internal radar structure, which was engineered for high positional accuracy crucial for radar operations. Additionally, L.Garde has developed and tested an innovative deployable truss that utilizes concentrated strain hinges for efficient stowage and deployment. This lightweight truss boasts an exceptionally high compaction ratio, making it suitable for a wide range of missions. L.Garde is exploring the application of this truss technology for deploying large arrays from ESPA class satellites.
