About

L.Garde has designed, fabricated, tested, and flight-demonstrated deployable antennas throughout its history, including the Inflatable Antenna Experiment (IAE) — a 14-meter diameter inflatable parabolic dish with an inflatable torus perimeter support and three ~33-meter inflatable struts, flown aboard Space Shuttle mission STS-77 on the Spartan 207 spacecraft. The company continues developing new deployable antenna concepts and prototypes, including designs with surface accuracy suitable for Ka-band transmissions.
