The LM 400 is Lockheed Martin’s most flexible and capable satellite platform with multi-mission capabilities tailored for remote sensing, communications, imaging, and radar. Approximately the volume of an average home refrigerator, the platform accommodates payloads up to 1,100 kg and features exceptional propulsion and optimal operability in LEO, MEO, and GEO. Designed for proliferated network constellations and multi-launch configurations, the LM 400 features SmartSat™ software-defined satellite architecture for onboard data processing and conforms to Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA). Manufactured at Lockheed Martin’s $350M Gateway Center in Waterton, Colorado.
