This low-power stationary plasma thruster is designed for spacecraft station keeping. It was first released in 1976 and has a guaranteed service life of 2500 hours and 3000 cycles. The thruster uses xenon as propellant and consists of anode and cathode units. It features a classical magnetic system with magnetic screens and three external magnetic coils. The outside diameter of the accelerating channel is 50 mm, and the mean diameter is 40 mm. The product has extensive flight heritage, having been flown on the Meteor-1-27 spacecraft (launched 15.05.76), Kanopus-B series spacecraft (launched 22.07.12, 01.02.18, 27.12.18), BKA (launched 22.07.12), Kanopus-B-IK (launched 05.07.17), and various Cosmos series spacecraft. The manufacturer offers the possibility to adapt the product to customer requirements. The estimated production/delivery time is 10 months, not including the time needed to procure materials (4 months) and procured parts and components (6 months).
