About
MA61C EGSE is SPiN’s Electronic Ground Support Equipment, a plug-and-play testing tool that lets engineers easily and quickly monitor and command satellite subsystems directly from a computer via USB, using an intuitive Graphical User Interface. It makes the link between a computer and the satellite subsystems under test: connect USB to the computer, and SpaceWire, I2C, CAN, UART, MIL-STD-1553 or GPIO to the subsystem.
As with the flight variants of MA61C, the EGSE holds an internal database of Electronic Data Sheets that enable plug-and-play functionality – device recognition, self-configuration and driver installation – without user intervention. The integrated API and GUI allow easy commanding and monitoring of connected units, making MA61C EGSE a convenient bench-test companion for integration and verification campaigns.
