About

The Mag-01H Declinometer/Inclinometer system is an ideal choice for magnetic observations and surveying in fixed and mobile locations. It can be calibrated against a reference system at a magnetic observatory. The system comprises a single axis Mag-01H magnetometer, Mag A fluxgate probe, and WILD T1 steel-free theodolite. Key features include measuring localised magnetic field declination and inclination to 6 seconds of arc, a non-magnetic theodolite, and 20 hours of continuous use on its internal battery. An optional steel-free tripod is also available. Applications for this system include Earth’s magnetic field measurement, use as a calibration tool for compasses and rangefinders, in-field referencing in oil and gas exploration, and magnetic cleanliness of sites such as aircraft compass calibration pads.
