About
The Mag-03RCU fluxgate magnetometers are engineered for precise magnetic signature measurements and marine surveillance applications. They are capable of operating with cable lengths up to 2000m and are submersible to a depth of 100m. Ease of installation and maintenance is ensured through the availability of underwater mateable connectors, which can be specified in either stainless steel or titanium. These connectors can be integrated directly into the housing or provided on a cable tail. The magnetometers offer measuring range options of ±100μT, ±200μT, or ±300μT, with a bandwidth extending from DC to 3kHz. A built-in test facility is included for convenience. Bartington Instruments’ DAS1 data acquisition system is compatible and can manage up to 80 Mag-03RCU magnetometers simultaneously. Key applications include magnetic signature measurements in marine ranges, degaussing ranges, and general marine surveillance.
