About
The Mag639 is a wide bandwidth three-axis fluxgate magnetometer designed for precise magnetic field measurements. It is capable of measuring field strengths up to ±100μT across a frequency range from DC to 12kHz. The device incorporates a non-conductive cylindrical enclosure, which effectively prevents the creation of eddy currents, ensuring accurate readings. A 2.5m shielded cable is integrated to position the sensor connector away from the fluxgates, further enhancing measurement integrity. The magnetometer features three concurrent fluxgate elements, which are crucial for minimising the impact of high magnetic field gradients. Key features include a wide bandwidth from DC to 12kHz, a low noise level of <20pTrms/√Hz at 1Hz, and a ±100µT measuring range. The concurrent axes ensure a single point of intersection for measurements, and the unit is environmentally sealed to IP65 for robust performance in various conditions. Applications for the Mag639 include Time-domain electromagnetics (TDEM), Magnetotellurics (MT), EMC Interferences measurement, and Unexploded ordnance (UXO) detection.
