CubeSpace (CS) Magnetorquer Rods are an extensive range of space-proven magnetic torquers built using automated machinery and subjected to rigorous testing to ensure absolute repeatability and enable high-volume production at low cost. These magnetorquers are designed with a compact form factor, low-profile connectors, and robust mounting options, making them ideal for satellites where space and mass are critical considerations. The product range is modular and mature, and CS also offers customized options for larger satellites. Key features include an extended range to suit multiple performance needs, a heat-treated core, high magnetic gain, and standardized Molex Micro-lock connectors across the Gen2 product range. The product line includes models CR0002, CR0003, CR0004, CR0006, CR0008, CR0010, CR0012, and CR0020, offering magnetic moments from 0.2 Am² to 2 Am². They are qualified for random vibration according to NASA GEVS standards and operate within a thermal vacuum range of -20 to 80 °C and a thermal cold and hot start range of -35 to 70 °C.
