About

The Magson Data Logger was primarily developed for fast E-field measurements on the sea floor but is versatile enough for all kinds of low-voltage measurements, supporting sampling rates of up to 10 kHz across 3 channels. On demand, the unit can be equipped with an atomic clock to enable time-synchronous measurements across several data loggers without requiring a direct cable connection between units, which is critical for distributed sensor networks in remote or underwater deployments. The Linux-based system provides a network interface and an FTP server for straightforward data retrieval and integration into existing data handling workflows. Its rugged design and flexible channel configuration make it suitable for geophysical surveys, oceanographic research, and other scientific field campaigns requiring precise, synchronized low-voltage signal acquisition.
