About
Vyom 2U is Manastu Space’s monopropellant green propulsion system using eco-friendly hydrogen peroxide-based fuel (MS289), delivering dependable thrust for orbit insertion, altitude adjustments, and attitude control on 5U to 24U+ satellite platforms. Having achieved TRL-8, it flew aboard ISRO’s PSLV-C60 POEM-4 platform alongside 23 other payloads in low Earth orbit, completing over 700 seconds of cumulative firing including a 360-second continuous burn and 20+ restarts over a two-month stay in orbit. It first fired on December 31, tilting the 1,408 kg POEM-4 platform 24 degrees using 1 Newton of thrust.
