About
The Metal Composite Xenon Tank XT-200 is a 200-litre metal-composite pressure vessel designed for apogee electric propulsion engine units that raise spacecraft from geostationary transfer orbit (GTO) to geostationary orbit (GEO). It stores up to 350 kg of xenon at a 90 kgf/cm² operating pressure with a burst pressure above 250 kgf/cm². With a tank mass of only 28 kg the efficiency coefficient (mt/mx) is 0.08. Released in 2015 with a 12-month delivery time and a 15.5-year active lifetime. Flight-qualified and adaptable to customer requirements.
