About

Phoenix Eye™ is RocketStar’s proprietary Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) digital signal processing software suite, adapted from software originally developed for deep space communications, and aimed at satellite, military and other high-level communication applications. The suite is composed of several modules: SignalBoost provides Low Probability of Intercept/Detect (LPI/D) capability for tactical radio communications by detecting signals tens of dB below the noise floor, enabling covert transmission without revealing the operator’s presence. SignalPrint provides unique ‘fingerprint’ identification of individual transmitters even when they are identical in design, manufacture, configuration, software and cryptography, allowing tracking of specific radio emitters and detection of spoofed/replayed transmissions from cloned hardware. SyncWave is a digital signal processing software module addressing grating lobes caused by carrier phase differences in Electronically Scanned Antenna (ESA) receivers, which otherwise limit antenna design options by degrading the combination of weak signals. OmniPNT is an Alternative Positioning, Navigation & Timing (APNT) COTS software solution that determines location (latitude, longitude, altitude and time) without GPS by using radio waves from celestial objects and other signals of opportunity such as the sun, moon, planets, satellites, pulsars, and other signals of opportunity. WhisperHunter is described alongside SyncWave as addressing the same ESA grating-lobe signal-gathering limitation. RocketStar states Phoenix Eye is designed to solve longstanding barriers in communication technology, offering capabilities in navigation, signal detection, electronic fingerprinting and secure transmission for satellites, military operations and other high-level applications.
