About
Phoenix Eye WhisperHunter is part of RocketStar’s Phoenix Eye DSP software suite, targeting Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) applications. Electronically Scanned Antenna (ESA) receivers can combine weak signals for clearer reception, but their effective signal-gathering power is normally limited by grating lobes caused by carrier phase differences, constraining antenna design choices. WhisperHunter shares the Phoenix Eye suite’s baseband processing approach to mitigate these effects, giving ISR operators extraordinary signal-detection capability, greater freedom in antenna placement and design, support for hybrid multi-device antenna meshes, and increased sensitivity to weak signals for downstream processing by a modem, file storage system or analog RF/SDR conversion chain.
