This Modified Stationary Plasma Thruster (SPT) is designed for spacecraft station keeping and orbit raising to Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO). It was released in 2012 and has a guaranteed service life of 12,000 hours or 5,000 cycles. The thruster utilizes xenon as a propellant and consists of anode and cathode units. It features a classical magnetic system with magnetic screens and four external magnetic coils. The outside diameter of the accelerating channel is 100 mm, with a mean diameter of 85 mm. The plume divergence half-angle (90% of ion current) is 30°. The design incorporates new structural materials and components. The manufacturer states an estimated production/delivery time of 10 months, not including material procurement (4 months) and procured parts/components (6 months). The product can be adapted to customer requirements.
