NaviLEO
NaviLEO is a high-performance GNSS receiver platform developed by SpacePNT, designed to meet the stringent needs and challenges of the New Space market.
About
SpacePNT has developed NaviLEO, a high-performance GNSS receiver platform engineered to address the demanding requirements of the New Space market. It offers unique features such as the highest autonomous positioning and timing precision, with an autonomous on-board proprietary real-time precise orbit determination (POD) algorithm providing less than 10 cm (3D rms) in real-time onboard the satellite. The on-board clock ensures ns-level timing synchronization. NaviLEO boasts a low-cost and compact design, based on a COTS-based “New Space” approach, and implements a radiation-tolerant hardware/software/firmware architecture. Its compact design contributes to low size, weight, and power consumption. The platform is upgradable and scalable, supporting both passive and active antennas, and allows for in-flight firmware/software upgradability. It serves as a unique platform solution for launchers, LEO, GEO, HEO, and Moon missions, featuring a highly reliable architecture and an onboard orbital propagator for improved performance and availability. NaviLEO supports multiple GNSS (GPS, GALILEO) over multiple frequencies and cold redundancy with two units, designed to support a minimum of 10 years in typical LEO.
