NaviMoon
NaviMoon is SpacePNT's advanced autonomous GNSS receiver solution, delivering sub-100m accuracy at Moon distance and reducing reliance on costly Earth infrastructure for Orbit Determination.
About
NaviMoon offers the highest autonomous positioning and timing precision, utilizing super high-sensitivity acquisition and tracking algorithms to receive GNSS signals even at Moon distance. Its advanced navigation algorithms, integrated with a precise orbital forces model, provide <100 m (3D rms) accuracy in cis-lunar space, fully autonomously. The solution features a low-cost and compact design, based on a COTS-based “New Space” approach, and implements a radiation-tolerant HW/SW/FW architecture, resulting in low size, weight, and power. NaviMoon is upgradable and scalable, supporting both passive and active antennas, with in-flight FW/SW upgradability. It serves as a unique platform solution for launchers, LEO, GEO, HEO, and Moon missions. An external LNA is available as an option. The highly reliable architecture includes an onboard orbital propagator for improved performance and availability, supports multiple GNSS (GPS, GALILEO) over multiple frequencies, and offers cold redundancy with two units. Radiation Hardness Assurance is also available as an option.
