About
The SP240 is NOVI Space’s flagship on-board computer (OBC), designed for SmallSats and CubeSats requiring on-orbit AI processing and edge computing. It incorporates the VORAGO radiation-tolerant microcontroller and has achieved TRL 9 through multiple successful on-orbit demonstrations, including hosting aboard the International Space Station and deployment on SpaceX Transporter missions. The SP240 enables satellites to run machine learning models and autonomously process sensor data in space, transmitting only the relevant results to the ground rather than raw data. It serves as the core compute platform for NOVI Space’s GENIEedge constellation and is available for integration into third-party satellites and payloads via NOVI’s Mission-as-a-Service offering.
