At its core, SKAIDOCK features the Xiphos Q8J module powered by a Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC. With flight heritage from hundreds of missions, the Q8 ensures trusted reliability in space environments. SKAIDOCK includes redundant system and data storage for increased mission resilience. Its versatile interface suite — from RS422 to Ethernet and beyond — makes it adaptable to a wide range of platforms and payloads. The board has been qualified for operation in a space environment, including thermal-vacuum testing from -40 °C to +60 °C, sine and random vibration, shock, and radiated emissions measurements.
