About
The SP series covers NPC Spacemind’s body-mounted (non-deployable) solar panels, sized to match every SM structure face from 1U to 8U/16U in both lateral (X) and zenith (Z) configurations. All panels use high-efficiency triple-junction UTJ solar cells and share a common electronics architecture: dual or quad parallel Picoblade power connectors, a digital temperature sensor plus NTC, coarse sun sensor(s), an IMU, and a magnetic sensor for attitude determination support. Panel sizes scale peak power output from roughly 2.3-2.5 W on the smallest SP1X up to 23-25 W on the SP8X, which also adds alternative solar-cell wiring options and a remove-before-flight pin. The SP family is designed to directly cover the outer faces of SM CubeSat structures.
