About
BeamBox is NSLComm’s (BeetleSat’s) core satellite communication payload, enabling high data rate downlinks from nanosatellite platforms in low Earth orbit. It incorporates NSLComm’s proprietary expandable antenna technology, which deploys after launch to achieve aperture sizes impossible within the constrained volume of a nanosatellite — making high-bandwidth connectivity accessible on small, low-cost spacecraft. BeamBox has achieved a world-first: successful deployment and two-way data communication via an expandable antenna on a LEO nanosatellite, validating the core technology in orbit. The product targets the SATCOM IoT market and applications such as precision digital agriculture, maritime tracking, and remote asset monitoring requiring high throughput from a LEO constellation.
